Seoul Grand Park Botanical Garden

Showroom greenhouse botanical gardens of various plants, located at the foot of Cheonggyesan surrounded by lush forests, a total of 1,262 plants of various kinds are being exhibited. From curiously-shaped cacti with different flowers to all sorts of evergreen foliage plants, every plant has their stories to share with you.

Current Status of Public Arboretum Registration

  • On June 10, 2015, the garden was registered as the first public arboretum in Seoul in accordance with the Act on the Creation and Furtherance of Arboretums and Gardens.
    ※ Public Arboretum: An arboretum operated by a local government
  • Selected as a forest resource management agency of Korea Forest Service on August 2, 2016.

Outdoor Botanical Garden :
Summer: 9:00 - 19:00 (Mar-Oct)
Winter: 9:00 - 18:00 (Nov-Feb)
Greenhouse Botanical Garden :
Summer: 9:00 - 17:00
  • ※ Open every day (365 days a year)
  • ※ Admission available up until 1 hour before closing

Botanical Garden Tour Guide

  • Plants and flowers blossom depending on the weather and season.
  • Note that when using the Botanical Library, books can only be viewed inside the library.
  • Do not touch the animal specimens and fixtures when using the herbarium.

    Do not consume food in the greenhouse.

    Only use designated pathways or facilities.
