Carnivorous Plant PavilionIntroducing Seoul Grand Park Botanical Garden, the first public arboretum in Seoul.

Carnivorous Plant Pavilion
Despite the rarity of such plants, including Venus Flytraps and Tropical Pitchers Plants, visitors can see this unique plant life out on display.

There are a total of 600 plants, consisting of 30 different species, that are not easily found on a daily basis. Some of them include the Venus Flytraps, quickly catching flies with its sharp trap; Tropical Pitchers Plants, luring insects in before snaring them with a bottle-shaped pocket; Round-Leaved Sundews, catching insects with their sticky dew substance; Crimson Pitcherplants, resembling that of a horn; Common Butterworts, resembling a pretty violet yet cleverly catches their insect prey; and Byblis Linifloras and their thin, thread-like leaves.
